Default And so it begins again...introducing Seymour the Sensational Sentra!

Lemons car number three has been purchased. This should be fun. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves for now.

I looks like it's been through 4 hours of racing already. It's pre damaged.

It is an SE-R most definitely.

The BMW badge, while not making any sense at all, was added by the previous owner. It actually makes an odd bit of sense though as we added one to our first Lemons car about halfway through the race as a joke so it may just stay on the car.

And it is most definitely pre-damaged. You should see how "well" the doors and body panels fit. But...it's a sleeper.

Nissan, in print ads of the time, touted this car as the successor to the BMW 2002...

So in a way, it fits.

Happy LeMonizing, ladies and gentlemen of NoRCal!

It's just following tradition, rather ironically.

That race will be
Date: August 23-24, 2008
Track: Stafford Motor Speedway, Stafford Springs CT
Entry Deadline: Ten weeks before the race (14 June '08)

The particular race that we are running is
Date: December 27-28, 2008
Track: Thunderhill Raceway Park, Willows CA
Entry Deadline: Ten weeks before the race (18 October '08)

You should go watch, walk the pits, ect. Its amazing to watch really. Bumpin and grindin doesn't only have to go on in the bedroom.

As I was getting dressed this morning, I spotted this thing parked next to the house and uttered "Oh man, what have we done!"

No, thankfully.

...though every piece of bare plastic in the car has been painted black... as well as a few other things that weren't really meant to be painted.

Well, that and don't get over zealous with the weight reduction by shaving a whole quarter of an oz by removing the body plugs. Rob and Lorin didn't do it, but it was still funny. The key came out of the ignition and fell in a hole that otherwise would have been filled by a rubber body plug.
