Default Re: TDCi in the USA

I have read many euro mags, talked to my family that lives in Portugal, and know of a couple of people that own Ford Duratorq Diesels. Bottom line is that Ford has the best oil burner made right now.
With the new diesel fuel standards coming out in 2006 Ford sounds like they are really getting ready for them. Rumor is also to expect a V-6 diesel for the F-150/Expedition's. Hell what a great set up that would be. A direct injected V-6 with good hp and huge torque plus returning 24-28 mpg. Sure would be a better buy for the average guy then the 5.4 L. gas that returns ~12 mpg in my brothers Ex.
