I was going to start a "how to change fuel filter" today, and then I saw this thread. Wicked
Anyways, how would I change the fuel filter and what tools do I need?

Some basic instructions:
1) Open the relay box under the hood and take out the relay for the fuel system which is number 12 and blue color on my ZX3.
2) Turn on engine and let it run in netral for 5-10 minutes until the engine stalls. Mine took about 15 minutes.
3)Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery and support your vehicle appropriately. I used ramps under the rear wheels but I would recommend jack stands because it was a little tight for me underneath the car.
4)The fuel filter is located in front of the gas tank towards the right side underneath the car. You should easily be able to spot it.
5)Unbolt the bracket that holds the filter from the frame and disconnect the the fuel lines from each end of the filter. The service manual recommends using a special tool to disconnect the lines but you can easily do with your fingers by pressing on the tabs until the ring pops out. You'll know what I mean when you look at it. Make sure you put a pan underneath when disconnecting the filter because gasoline will spill out.
6)Connect the new filter in. The fuel hose on both sides should snap back on easily . Bolt the bracket back on the frame. Put the relay back in and connect the ground cable.
Took about 30 minutes for me to do.
