Great job Ron and all who helped(Including the companies who sent in the exhaust systems).
And I have to say that the little extras you did really make the test worthwile. The "Installer Rating" especially. Plus the short notes about each system made for an interesting read.
However, it would be nice to see all the results in tabular form on the last page. But I imagine that's something you've probably already thought of.
I'm still surprised that the 2.5" Borla did as well as it did. From what I've read here on the jet over the past few years, I had pretty much succumbed to the fact that a 2.5" would have been too large for a N/A motor. But I guess when you think about it, a company like Borla probably isn't going to make a 'bad' system. They chose 2.5" and designed the system to work. Out of all of the companies on the list, they've probably got one of the more all around well known names. At least in my circle of friends/enthusiasts. And a well known name over many years usually isn't just hype.
Also, congrats to FocusSport. Although I've never bought anything from them, I've always respected their products simply from the word of mouth here on FJ about their products and the way they do business. This test just hammers that point home. Then you take into consideration this test on just their exhaust:
Overall Quality: 4.5 of 5
Weld Quality: 4.5 of 5
Packaging Quality: 4 of 5
Installer Rating: 10 out of 10

Then you take in to consideration that theirs is one of the most affordable systems out there and its a no brainer.
But now if you really look into what the overall test showed as far as performance. Out of all the top systems, no one single system really out performed another. So when searching for an exhaust system, the other "little extras" that Ron and the crew did really make the difference.
Now, who's to tell what the results would be if this same test was performed on a heavily modded car. Maybe that slight torque advantage of the FS system would be magnified. But we all know that its not that simple. The entire intake/engine/exhaust works as a system. But if it were my money, it would be FS all the way.
