the ZEtec E is all ford has nothing to do with mazda.

the "Global inline" is a ford/mazda colaboration with mazda leading engineering, ford finaced the project which included 4 plants and cost 2 billion dollars.

the ZEtec is relative of the old CVH motors which lead to the SPI.
