for all intents and purposes the duratec line IS the MZR line, just depends on whether you ask a ford guy or a mazda guy.
THe ZVH block (zetec) is actually an evolution of the CVH family as far as I know (SPIs)...

They are not Mazda designed. They are Ford designed with input from Mazda and Cosworth (the new Duratech 2.0-2.3 family of engines being use by both manufacturers)
