This happened to my car last year- I have a 2000 zx3. When I called the locksmith guy in Fresno, Cali he told me this was like the 30th call he'd gotten about it. I ended up taking it to ford- I know a service writer- and got it all taken care of for 80 bucks- plus having to have it towed!
