Actually Greg, if I'm reading this right you can't do that.

However, it seems a bit odd to me that a Zetec with the FR head and cams would be allowed to use tuning to play with timing and such, but the SVT guys wouldn't. Does the SVT engine still have that much of an advantage over a Zetec with FR head/cams/cam gears?

edit: I should clarify. You can't *technically* just go about decking the head to add half a point of compression. However, my guess is that all Zetecs that show up here will have required just enough shaving to true it as to magically gain exactly half a point of compression.
