- Heat shield
- Lower price.

Now i already have the RT piece and i'm very happy with it. However- that being said i think the following are reasons to consider the CFM piece (and i'm listing items detailed by CFM in this thread)

-Hardware - It would be nice if the RT piece included some hardware. When i installed mine i just used my own bolts, as i tend to keep a bunch around for random projects like this. No big deal if you dont have any, just go to the store and get some hardware. 5 bolts / 10 washers, 5 nuts, 5 lock washers. This aspect doesn't personally bother me, but it could be a deterrent for other potential customers.

-Heatshield- This i think could be a selling issue. Personally i'd like one at least near the oil pan.

-Oil pan clearance- At first this bothered me, but i haven't had any issues. 1/16" appears to be fine. *shrug*

-Instructions- It's 5 bolts and two o2 fittings... Maybe it's just me but i didn't need instructions. I'm sure others would enjoy reviewing them, however.

-Lower Price- As always, some members here are loyal to certain vendors. I've done business with both CFM and McNews numerous times in the past, and i think they are both great places to buy from. However, on the issue of lower price, i think this could be a huge deal, as we should always be loyal to ourselves first, right? Now if the price difference btwn the two units is $50... and one is known to be better (not that it's proven yet), in one year will you miss that $50?
*shrug*

edit: I'd also offer to do back to back dyno sessions on the CFM unit versus the RT unit, but my vehicle is far from stock and any changes may be exhaggerated. If you two (Ray, Hector) want me to let me know i'm going to the rollers in a week. Then again maybe i'm not the best candidate as i want to mess with that freakin' VCT.
