Former NASA driver runs in Indy
A little note on the Indy 500.
Marco Andretti became the first NASA driver to ever run in the Indy 500. Marco ran with NASA in 2004 in the Formula TR series. He's first professional race was at California Speedway in 2004. Marco went on to dominate the series, winning his first professional championship with NASA.
I still remember him as a 17 year old kid going around Willow Springs in a NASA event in a Formula TR car. The apple didn't fall too far away from the tree here.
WTG Marco!!
