You know, if they ever do, it would be hard to believe they'd do it right. They have yet to bring out a car that just destroys its' competition (with the exception fo the Cobra's).
But for this car to be any kind of a success, I would think a minimum of 200hp and forced induction. It's got the new GTI and Si to compete with. But of course it wont be out till at least 2008 or 2009 so by then it will have new competetion.
Personally I'd like the Euro ST on the C-Max platform with a nice little turbocharged engine putting power at about 220. I think that would make for a great hatch here in the states
