In all honesty, the price you are going to have to end up paying for the entire conversion package is not worth it for the power increase. There are other options for far less money that people could exercise if they are savvy enough to do a motor swap.

1. Take out motor. From a quality auto parts recycler. Greenleaf automotive for example. You could get a motor from them for anywhere from $1000.00 to $1500.00 for one with only 1000 miles on it. I just did a quick search.


2. Have a motor built. Build a motor for boost or N2O. If you are going to spend $5000.00 dollars to build a focus motor, the thing better make some serious HP. After owning my Cobra, I will never be able to justify such vast amounts of money for only ~175-200 hp with modifications. It's just not worth it. At that amount of money, I would be looking at a setup that will produce serious horsepower.
