I currently drive a 2005 Focus, and although I think this 2008 exterior is only somewhat better, the interior is a very welcome improvement. My only interest would be as a body-in-white. Even then I'd try to see what sheetmetal from the first-gen Focus would bolt up.
The person responsible for approving this design for production should get kicked in the nuts/ovaries (as appropriate).
Ford just killed the Focus, and any desire I ever had to buy a new one.
I'll reserve my final verdict until I see one in the flesh, but "Signs point to NO" says the Magic 8-Ball.
