I see where you're going at with the 3 series though, if you cover up the front end you can definitely see some modern sedan styling in there.

LOL, i never noticed the A-Pillar crease carried over either. That's awesome, I (oddly) love that design cue on my Focus... and part of the reason I'm actually a little hesitant on after market mirrors.

Which raises another good option. MK1.75 mirrors on a MK1 and MK1.5 Focus?

EDIT: I REALLY don't like the new Focus in this colour. The hood looks REALLY off when not dulled with a darker colour. Something about it looks tacked on.. like "oh! crap! we forgot the hood!" Which was something I do love about the MK1, the hood/headlight combo has a great flow to it. This did seem to have great flow on that blue (and on that LG I guess) but it just dies on a lighter colour
