well honestally i stopped caring at this point. I saw the thing at the NYIAS and ford did have allot of people looking at there cars. The focus was not one of the cars people looked at. even though it was a preproduction car sitting on the floor, almost noone even gave it a second look. A far cry from the attention a volvo C30 was getting (which was a straight Espec car, complete with km/h only speedo.) The screwed up this "refresh" and it is too late to do anything about it. It will be sold again with rebates, and sorry to say to them it was probabally a waist of money for ford.

my focus has about 90,000 miles on it at this point (for an 02, and i drive my motorcycle as much as possable which now has 8,000 miles in 8 months) so yea in the next 2 years i am sure i will need a new car. Ford has nothing i want, so i will just shop elsewhere. As simple as that.

Anyway i am looking foward to the saturn astra, I like the a3, and ford has one car that i am vagley intereated in, the mazda 3 now that stability control is an option. I may also consider a nissan frontier (keep in mind any "car" i get is a second vehicle, my bike is my daily driver) but that is only if they have stability control, side airbags, and MANUAL as an option. (you can get the xterra this way allready)
