Default Re: My LED license lamp solution

Damn, dude, that is really awesome! These newer LEDs really make a tremendous difference. Not to mention, for these pics, your interior color pattern presents itself nicely.

I hadn't even made myself a demo set, but just seeing how they lit up on my lab bench, I could tell there were some improvements... and this exceeded my expectations, totally.

Now, I just need the guy with the BLUE LEDs to take some pics. If the pure white looks that good, I can't imagine what the blue looks like.

Just so that you can see what I mean, here's a picture that's over a year old - with the older, narrow angled LEDs:

Just look at the spread of light on my seats versus the ones you took. On my wagon, you can see how the light doesn't cover much, and it's like a spotlight over the center console. I mean, it's still damn bright, but it doesn't spread.

And another thing that dawned on me - if you were able to take non-blurry, non-flash shots with an average camera, in pitch black darkness, I think that speaks volumes about the amount of light output.

Oh, and in the next few days, I should be covering all outstanding requests for those that have asked. Those of you waiting - Cruzin4L's pics are what you can expect to see. Thank you for your patience while I get my ass kicked at work
