Torque should not be an issue. The bolt should be tight. Mine was torqued to the spec in the ford manual. If the mount can't handle driving down a bumpy road then it is a down grade from the stock mount.
Here are the pictures of my failure. To me it looks like the offset in the mount just ripped apart along the machining marks in the aluminum. See the stair step appearance on the part that was left on the motor. This offset is not present on the factory mount so it would be nearly impossible for a factory mount to fail this way. I am still interested in how the mount could be put on backward.
