negative, i know for a fact that there is at least one difference, and by feeling it, i would guess there are more. the stock 08 has no reverse lockout, i don't think the knob would work like the pre-08.

also, it feels taller than the stock 02.5+ but its been a while since i felt that shifter.

at the very least they would need to slightly modify the knob and maybe the threading at the top, and then there is the shifter base and clearance issues that could be different. maybe my friend will let me pull up the shift boot to see it.
