Default Re: CFM Turbo Focus 375FWHP

OK I have a 30R on my car and it would hit full spool of just 15psi at 4000 rpms. If i go to 25psi it's 4300rpms. You have to remember that the 35R is going to spool slower than the 30R due to the size of the compressor. You could put the smallest exhaust housing you could find for the 35R and it's still going to spool really slow.

I have recently blown up my 30R and I switched to a 3071R which will spool on average 400rpms sooner than the regular 30R. with a 35R you will even have a hard time spooling that up off the line with some nitrous.

I think you may have possibly seen a 35R spool up on a different vehicle and it may have seemed pretty quick but on the focus it will take forever, especially if you have a zetec engine.
