Default Re: my new pile of sheet metal. (project RoRo Revive) another update!!!

shhh Larry, you are taking away the specialness of it. delete your damn post before he sees it!

Its ok, dave. It was in RoRo's car therefor it is the RoRo seat.

OK!!!! Time for more updates!!!

Thanks to Zetecgt, the man of the hour, my scrap pile has a bumper!!!!!!!!!

Sorry Larry, I decided that due to the AC lines being open for so long, it would cost too much more money to replace everything and have functioning AC. If you want your compressor back, I'll send it to you. So..................... goodbye everything but the evaperator.

I did that because most of the lines are behind the fender. I was ready to mount the bumper so I wanted to do this only once. later AC.

After about an hour of scraping silicone off the bumper. (f'n lip kit) I got almost all of it off. I got pissed at it's durability so I used a wire brush. I was suprised that the damage was superficial to the bumper while MASSIVE to the silicone.

I got the bumper on, fenders lined up (right side needs more tweeking, and ****ty CF hood properly secured and lined up. Lights are also in. the hood is not all the way latched because its electric pop and I have no electricity.

sorry dave, I didnt have enough daylight to get that panel for you. I'll get next time I go do some work.

Ive already got an upper grill and I think I have some corners in my closet.

need a lower grill still. maybe another awesome jetter will come thru for me. so far the response has been PHENOMENAL!!! I'm going to dedicate this car to the fine focaljet community......who are making the build easier. I promise to do you proud.
