I have installed a custom ram air system to the stock MAF intake tube and have noticed an excellent bump in power. Here is my question. Sometimes it feels like it has more power than other times. I was wondering if I have potentially increased the cylinder pressures enough at 60-80MPH for the computer to pull timing?
Its not all the time, but there are times its extremely healthy and then others... just healthy... It seems noticable and this is the only thing I can think of. So what if I bump it to 90 octane...?
I have a very large collector under neath the bumper connected to the stock intake system...
