I HOPE that Ford has paid Attention to the many threads across the years showing the Just HOW Useful the First Gen hatch is. The things I've carried Definitely make the car a pleasure to own. Don't shrink it a 1/4" in the hatch, or there will be child toys that can't be carried.

An Option, Reasonably Priced, would DEFINITELY be great for both "Performance Enthusiasts", AND for "Snow-Climate" drivers. (Sometimes you need the type of "Traction Control" that ABS-oriented stuff doesn't offer)
Just like the SVT brakes, a Quaife type LSD should be available as Optional OEM Equipment with only Limited Extra Charge for those who feel the need.
