I'm still 50/50 on that......maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. Both are cars I would have loved to own / drive, but I totally agree with the op about buying an already modified car. When you build a car from the ground up, you KNOW what was done when and by whom.
You're taking a chance when buying an already modified car because you don't KNOW who did the work, when and with what parts.
