I could see the Focus appealing to an upmaket crowd with the right marketing strategy. I don't know the numbers on the Edge, but I see a lot of them in the higher class neighborhoods round here, so basically if the car looks good and they market it as a great car for the upper class like they did with the Edge, you know, all the commercials about how it's faster than an X5 and quieter than a whatever. The Edge even kind of looks like a Focus ST in the hatch area and seems to be selling well.
