THe JRSC is THE most reliable FI for the Focus...SVT or not. It's been around since the begining, and besides the few of us who have pushed the limits far beyond what the JRSC should go....there have been nearly ZERO problems. You would be perfectly fine having an JRSC'd SVT for your DD. I am just skeptical of buying previously modded cars. For the most part they were modded so that they would be faster...meaning that it was probably beat on. And the fact that it had a clutch put in at 54,000 miles should be the biggest red flag. I would do some research. There's a good chance that it MAY have been somebody's car on here.

I personally would look for a bone stock SVTF and mod it yourself, or fiding one on here that people know the history of.
