You can't tell they are niteshaded with the lights on other than they will be dimmer than normal. The only time you can see them black is during the day which hurts nothing.
I am good with niteshades but I would never spray headlights with it, imagine rock chips etc. It would look like poopy in a few months. I would suggest the lamin-x, or the blackout removable covers.
