I believe the MSS "Unbreakable" is the revised OEM Ford unit that comes on the Duratec vehicles with new polyurethane bushings.

The biggest issue with replacing one of the bushings (out of the three mounts) is that you induce other harmonics in the engine movement that were not originally there since the durometer of the 3 mounts rubber was the same. When you replace only the lower mount there is additional movement that has to be accounted for by the upper mounts and this accounts for the failures of either the upper mounts or the replacement lower mount.

If you are going to replace the lower mount, I would recommend getting all three mounts, otherwise you will be replacing the others in due time, or replacing the upgraded mount.

Keep the durometer of the polymers the same among all three motor mounts.

Some people will complain about excess vibration with all three mounts; however, this can be tuned out by adjusting the motor position in the engine bay.

We carry the CFM and the Steeda units. We also have used OEM replacements if you are in need.

Cheers,
Brian

totally disagree

If that were the case, people would complain about tranny and passenger mounts breaking, and I havn't heard of one yet due to a lower tranny mount. It's like saying "due to the extra pressure buildup inside the combusion chambers from running a boosted application, there's alot more stress on the stock rods and pistons, as well as the valvetrain if you run into high rpms. We recommend getting forged internals as well as a complete turbo build setup to ensure this doesn't happen. Maybe an oil sump baffle as well, and it's always best to have abit more oil so get the balance shaft delete...don't forget you took out that BS so you'll have more vibrations so well, we don't sell anything for that so get used to it. You'll also need gauges and maybe a bigger fuel pump"...nice sales pitch though! lol.
