The aircharger was the one that caused the lean condition. I know because I have one thats only use now is taking up space in my shed. Lucky for me the filter bolted right on to the maf hose, viola, stealth intake. The Ford tech said that the short term fuel trims were fine, but the long term trims were 9% lean. He said that this wasn't a dangerous condition as far as melting pistons, but it was leaner then Ford is comfy with. I'm really disappointed in K&N for not doing their homework. It was a great lesson on why we should purchase from forum sponsors.
