What I have noticed that when I put the camber plates to full camber I get no noise at all, however if I have them set for the street setting I have on that still grinds. I have taken it off and it looks like the back of the studs are catching and rubbing the rounded cup. With this rubbing it doesn't let the spring rotate properly causing it to bind then pop or sometimes get the studs grinding across the upper part of the metal cup. It seems that there needs to be a little more space between the metal cup and the indexing spacer.
