It helps to have a healthy sidewall when installing a fat tire on a narrow wheel.

... the taller the sidewall, the more realistic it is. A 245/50-15 Hoosier R6, for example, is compatible with a 7" wheel....

...but you'll never fit that under a Focus without a sawzall.

I recently tried a 225/50-16 Hoosier A6 on a 7" wheel and it was SIGNIFICANTLY wider than my 235/40-17 Falken on a 7.5" wheel.... so care must be taken to test fitment.
