Hey All,
Well I've been lurking around for about a week and finally decided to post something.
First let me say thanks to everyone who has already answered alot of questions for me without realizing it. Focaljet seems to be a very healthy forum, a raritey it seems.
My background is in old skool muscle so there are a lot of gaps in my knowledege when it comes to later model customizing, especially the electronics.
My project is also my daily driver. 3 Dr. 2002 ZX3. I also own a Chevy Suburban (I have 5 kids so I need a big car) and I am restoring a 68 VW Beetle for my wife. She loves VW, and to be honest when it was running it was a hoot to drive, but I digress.
I do all my own work, except interior. Me and sewing machines never got along. I owned a body shop for a few years but realized that doing work for snotty, overpriveledged...uhh... people was a major drag.
I look forward to learning more about modern performance builds and sharing what I know about engines, paint and body with others.
