well having an all black car, a rust ring is very much an eye soar and i am not too worried about and heat retention cause i dont run the car hard. just turned 80k, shes gettin old.

i masked them off and painted them last tuesday, they cam out great. i will prob. ull them off in a couple weeks and reapply on the areas i didnt paint. i could have waited longer to untape and install, the paint peeled alittle when i pulled off the tape. but its all good.

i used some kinda header or block paint, good up o like 1200 degrees or something. so it should be good.
