Re: H&R reace with koni with camber plates?
I've been driving the car more the last couple days, and the KA-CHUNKs are more frequent. My impression is that the spring is not free to rotate with the strut and is slipping in the seats - i.e., the top hat is not rotating as much as the lower spring seat and is torque-ing up the spring - until it shifts in the seat (pops).
The popping does not happen in the same place everytime, leading me to think it isn't a mounting studs/clearance issue.
Anyone think a thin rubber isolator in the seats would keep the spring from shifting?
