Re: front and rear clunking getting bad
Just curious did you get the car aligned after the install. Well the reason I am asking all shops should check the suspension and steering for play or noises before any alignment is performed.
My guess is that your strut rod nuts (center of the strut mount bolt/nut) weren't/ aren't tightened enough. And that couple turns is what is causing the clunking. If this is the problem the threads may be messed up on the shaft, I could see using a properly sized washer not hurting anything.
