Default Help this audio noob! Want to replace the stock SVT - audiophile amp...help!

Alright so I have the audiophile system in my SVTf (the one with the 8 inch sub in the hatch). I replaced the sub itself with a component rockford fosgate Punch II. Of course this is not listed on crutchfields site anymore... I think it was rated for like 200-300 watts?

Anyway... I popped it in like a year back without changing the amp and it is actually a tad weaker than the stock sub. I would guess this is from being under-driven?

I now want to add a small amp so that the sub actually hits.

My question is: Do I simply replace the stock amp with a new one? I assume using the factory wiring is bad? I only want to put a tiny sub in there.
Either this one:

Or this one:

They are both 65X2 and one is 200x1 the other is 165x1. Will this be enough to power the sub? Do I need to power the other door speakers off the same amp, or are they already good to go?

I hate electronics and wiring so if you feel like helping me out, put it in laymans terms lol!

Thanks in advance guys!
