As I stated in my "New Here" post my expirence lies in restoring old muscle cars so forgive me if these questions are a bit remedial.

1. Does the Focus SVT have a bigger intake manifold and if so will it bolt to a Zetec 2.0. I'm assuming they're the same engine with the SVT having more "performance" parts bolted to them.

2. I've read alot of posts about people porting and polishing heads, has anyone had any luck "decking" them as well? In the old muscle cars you could change the compression ratio by shaving 0.010" off the head. It also served to better mate the head to the engine block. One of the dangers of this process is having the valve smack against the pistons.

3. Has any one had their engine bored out. Again I used to do this alot to older engines but I'm not sure how it would work on these smaller ones. My biggest concern is boring into an oil journal and such. Also, how much can you bore out without running into trouble?
