Not sure about number 1, but yes it is a zetec and it isn't.. the SVT zetec has a higher flowing cylinder head that also gives the engine an increase in compression.. as well as a better crank, rods and pistons. the engine block has oil squirters. I probably wouldn't deck the head, just use a different head gasket, different heads, or different compression pistons. I'm not sure how much it equates to in measurements, but I know the zetec can be bored out to displace 2.1L but i'm not really sure about any more than that
