offset is the distance in mm forward(+) or back(-) for the centerline of the wheel width.
the higher the number the more wheel on the INSIDE
the lower the number the more wheel on the outside.
0 offset or ET means the wheel mounts dead center in the width.
8" wide wheel you'll have 4" on either side of the hub surface.
one thing lots of people miss/neglect or don't know is the offset and center line are from between the inside of the lips where the tire mounts not from the outside faces of the lips.
