Ditto the above on the SVTF suspension kit that is still available through FRPP & their distributors.
I did this a couple of years ago to my wife's 2000 ZTS sedan & it was amazing. The stock handling was already impressive but the SVTF kit made it that much better. The lowering was subtle & most people don't even notice it unless parked next to a standard Focus.
Another option is to look @ the kits offered by BAT. They have their own lowering springs as well as a pretty varied selection of dampers along with other spring/damper kits from Eibach, Koni, Sachs, to name a few. I've used the BAT lowering springs on my dearly departed SVTC along with Koni Sport Struts & was very satisfied with both the improvement in looks & handling.
