One would think, because initial press reports in early '04 about the '05 ST stated erroneously that the ST would share brakes, dampers and springs from the
SVT. Well, we know the brakes on the ST, though all-wheel-discs, share the fronts with all other '05 + with 280 mm rotors. (
SVT's fronts are 300 mm). Dampers, yes. Springs, no. A stock ZX4 ST sits as high as the first batch of 2.3 Duratec PZEV ZX3s... so the
SVT springs are indeed lower as they advertise: .5 inch lower than stock ZX3s, ZX4s and ZX5s.
