I need an expert with ATX. I've reached the point where I need to un-stake the final drive input gear bearing retainer nut ring.

Does anyone know what tool is preferred for doing this?

My needle nose pliers are too thick, I can't get the right angle with any of my punches, and I'm afraid my wood chisels are going to be too brittle.
