i have a stock 2000 lx.
doin 80km/h on the highway in a snow storm, was transitioning back to the outside lane. straightened the front wheels (i may have crossed the snowy centreline at too great an angle) but the back kept going. kept the wheels goin straight down the highway as the back end switched from right-to-left and back (i was slowly letting my speed go down and the..amount of fishtailing? was getting less and less). ended up just nickin a snow bank in front of a guard rail (no scratches or dents!) and was able to keep driving. pulled off the highway into the gas station. someone followed me in to see if i was ok, and told me it was one of the wildest things theyve ever seen (they just saw tailights goin backing and forth).
also, i find if i pull the ebrake while turning in the snow, i can get the back end kicked out and keep it like that for a good 30-40 feet. i did it all winter in the parking lot at work (swing into the empty part, go sideways, straighten my wheels and slide into a parking spot. got alot of funny looks for some reason...)
