McNews- about the Xenon kit I picked up

Hey Ray, I had a question or two about the Xenon kit I picked up yesterday. I test-fitted it last night and the front and rear bumpers fit fine, but i had an issue with the side skirts. We held them up to the car where they should be, but it looks like they might not be flush. You know where a part of the inner strip (where you put the tape) is raised a little where it touches the fender? Well it seems to me that it should be flush with the rest of the side skirt, if not indented a little. I could show you what I mean when I drop off the kit tomorrow morning if you'll be there.

Also, Bobby told me that I should double tape the rear lip. We only put on a single layer of tape for now because it looks like if you double-layer it, there will be a gap between the lip and the bumper. The mechanic that I'm working with also said that he didn't think it would really make it any stronger, either. So I thought I'd ask you guys.

Other than that, everything went fine. Thanks a lot for all your help and I can't wait to get it on my car.

Oh, and one last thing, how long do you think it will take to get it painted? Thanks again!
