    LCR -

One of my street plates has now barfed the blue isolator around the bearing. The strut rod is now pushing thru the plate. This plate has about 5000 miles on it.

Could you PLEASE update us on the replacement plates?

Can we still expect a revised product or a working prototype by years end?

I was hoping by year end but I cant promise that. The ST-R took over the shop... I was sworn to secrecy so I really haven't posted on here at all... Im sorry guys I just couldn't risk it.

The design revisions are all being looked at. I can tell you that the 2012 was directly responsible for the delay. You'll need to to read that last line, between the lines.

    Leo,

Here's another bit of data that might be useful as you consider the design revisions. My bottom plates were both bent. The 20-25 ft-lb torque on the mounting bolts deformed the bottom aluminum plate where there was no sliding plate between them. I'm guessing you used 6061-T6 Aluminum - steel of the same thickness deflects a lot less and is stronger - it would not have deformed.

So there's another reason to go with a steel lower plate............

Unless you call and update us then we'll probably never hear anything. They are pretty irresponsible when it comes to following up on their forum. Personally think they should be removed but that's just my opinion.
