I got my pulley today, and got it on the car. I havn't got on it yet because I have to go up to FS and have it tuned on Friday, but from what I can feel so far, it seems like its gonna be decently more powerful. It wants to boost alot faster now, and the engine seems so much more free revving. I'll post my numbers up when I get back form FS on friday.

Ok, I just ordered an ODP. I just recently changed my credit card's alternate shipping address info with my bank so I hope there's no problem.

Do you have any 5.9" pulley's in stock and how much would you possibly sell one for?

We have not made them in that size yet due to lack in demand.

Well what is your reasoning behind making the 5.7" and not a larger one?

The 5.7" crank pulley used along with the smallest supercharger pulley available for any supercharger should be enough to put most guys past a desirable amount of boost for most setups. I understand this might not be your case but when we make pulleys we have to make a bunch of them and unfortunately there is not enough demand currently to justify making that additional size. If you're interested, we can have a one-off made for you but it will cost a bit more.

Already have the JRSC with the Big Boost Kit on my car. Putting this pulley on, I would have to get retuned for safety?

yes. and be careful, with that setup you will be close to maxing the M45 blower out RPM wise. Keep the redline around 7k and you will be fine.

But I'd be able to pu the pulley on, then drive it like a baby to a shop to get tuned? Any good shops out there in southern Michigan area?

If you stay off boost you will have absolutely no problems. Try www.sctflash.com to locate a dealer near you. Maybe go in their forums and ask for references. Even though someone is an SCT dealer doesn't always mean they know what they're doing.

Would I have to run some type of cooling, or can this be done without injection? Also, what the hell does that lower temperature thermostat thing do that I've seen around? Could that be a benefit to my needs?

Cooling is always beneficial. The air keeps getting hotter as you increase boost which varies by efficiency of compressor being used. The tune for higher amounts of heat is also more critical because if it does not compensate properly it could lead to engine damage. You might want to find out if a water methanol kit can be adapted to a JRSC kit.
A lower temp thermostat is beneficial for any FI setup but it does nothing for hot discharge air temps.

Will this be safe with the P/W S/C that has the smaller pulley on the charger (BBK)?
I dont want to do any damage to the supercharger. |

According to my math, with a 5.7" pulley and the factory 2.8" PW pulley you will be spinning the blower at 14,250 @ 7,000 rpm

The PW guys are saying they dont like the 5.7 crank pulley due to the fact that it provides no dampening ability, which could be detrimental to the boosted motor at sustained high RPM operation.
What is your opinion on this? I have my 5.7 crank pulley sitting on my table, and teh PW guys talked me out of installing it.

We have been running a 5.9" on our Vortech car for a while now without any failure. This is the same deal as the UD pulley. A lot of people have them and only a handful of failures have been blamed on the pulley without any proof. We make no guarantees that you won't have a problem. You have to try at your own risk.
