Under $1000 if possible, since FR heads with all of those features are near $900. $1100 max though.

FR head is 1100 now ans the fr head beats it.

I would say if you price it with the FR head or a bit below it will sell pretty well

Our new Stage 2 outflows the FR head all over and that is the one I'm asking about. Our head outflows the FR head and has a better valve job. Why should that sell for less?

Is it just the worked head with the porting and upgraded valve springs, or a package deal with cams and cam gears?

We will sell it either way but you will save some cash if you buy everything. Not sure why you quoted that particular sentence. I hope you noticed that is not a price quote for our head.

I meant to write that the CFM outflows the FR head not that the FR head outflows the FR head.

I just think that if it is priced with the FR head even though it is better that it will sell well. Its not my company thats just my opinion. If you price it near what the FS/Cosworth head is i think people would buy the FS head because of the name that is on it.

I am very confident that the CFM package is going to be spectacular but I think where it is priced is critical.

The Package deal with everything will be interesting to see!

FR head comes with better springs...give it a valve job and it would prob be just as good as a ported stock head.

Who is in the market for a cylinder head within the next 2-4 weeks?

Your using OEM goodies in the stage 1/2 heads, correct? The first page doesn't say differant...

The ford racing piece has larger valves and upgraded springs, the ported head may flow more, but, with some work, the FRPP would prob conquer it?

Ok, I understand. The original Stage 2 numbers will be replaced with the NEW Stage 2 numbers I posted a couple of days ago. The Stage 2 package will now include similar or better springs/retainers and larger valves like the FR head.

We are also going to offer a Stage 3 but that will be a fully ported race head which will not be suitable for most street applications and will have a higher price tag. By the time you have an FR head ported and a valve job you will pay more.

But with a FR head, you got more meat to work with

Any dyno numbers on the heads yet?

I may be in the market. I am considering getting some extra money on my school loans for some car stuff and this could be at or near the top of the list.

PM sent

How did you verify that the FR head has more meat? I read that in a few posts but have yet to verify that. I really doubt that Ford Racing had Ford cast them a Zetec head. They would have done a Mustang head 100 times before considering doing a Zetec head.

We are going to build a NA car to be able to provide reliable dyno numbers for our customers. It will be a month or two before the car is ready.

so stage one now is Just the port/ polish/ valve job correct?

Then stage 2 will be big valves and better springs and have options for cams and buckets installed as well?
