Default SVT Focus procharger

Is this item California smog legal? Does it come with the paperwork I need when I go get it checked? Also you procharger tuner kit, what else do i need to get it running besides the base kit?

I believe ATI had full intentions of certifying their focus kit, but as of now no EO (Executive Order) is present for their system. It could be in the works but it's definately not finalized, so while you will be able to keep your catalytic in place, it wouldn't pass California visual.

I have not heard any rumblings that they will try to certify their SVT system, but it could very well be included in their process to try and certify the zetec system.

As for what else you need besides the base kit, you will need injectors and tuning to get up and running on the tuner kit. Hope this helps.

On your site it recommends 50lb injectors but you guys and most other places only cary 42lb injectors. Will the 42lb injectors be sufficient for this SC? Also, will I need the Diablosport MAF i.a.? I already have a Diablosport Predator reflash module, so I'm good on that end. So would I need anything else?

That was old info... We no longer offer the 50lb injectors since you can purchase the 60lb for a little more and have 17% more flow for safety. 42lb might be enough for a bone stock SVT kit but we definitely don't recommend going less than 60lb for safety. Yes, you will definitely need the MAF.ia. as your MAF sensor is going to "peg". We would also recommend a colder thermostat and some colder plugs. Other than those two and a custom tune for your Predator you'll be good to go.

While on the topic...is there any chance the kit could be sold without the intercooler for those who may want to go with an air-to-water or front-mount setup?

Good info. I'll never mind paying a few dollars more for extra safety. I've already got colder plugs and recently ordered a thermostat from you guys, so I'm good on that end. So really I don't need much more than just the injectors and the MAF and a new tune in my Predator.

Also, would I need to upgrade my fuel pump to the one that you guys carry if I went with the 60lb injectors?

At some point you should install a Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump. You will be closer to needing one when making over 300whp. We carry those as well.

You can delete the intercooler from the kit, but you might need to modify the piping.
The price would be $280.00 less without the intercooler.

As long as I had a good tune, though, would I be okay with the Kenne Bell pump with less than 300whp w/a SC and the 60lb injectors, just as a safeguard?

You should be fine. But definately will need the KB boost-a-pump as once you start climbing in the RPM's the rail pressure falls off considerably.

Your website only lists the Procharger for the regular ZX3 application. I'm assuming it is the same price for the SVT?

Would you guys be able to order the C-2 SC instead of the C-1 that comes in the Procharger kit that you guys offer? I know another FJ member, Pocus, who is going with the C-2 housing and a FMIC and I was looking to do the same. According to the chart on Procharger.com the only difference in the two housings is the inducer diameter and max air flow. Other than that they are exactly the same. So would it be possible and if so what would be the price difference?

We can order the kit with the different head unit. $170.56 more is what you are looking at.
