Default Alternator

http://focus.c-f-m.com/index.asp?Pag...PROD&ProdID=81

So this alternator is a direct replacement for the stock SVT alternator and requires no mod whatsoever?

I believe the SVT / Zetec alternator is a 200 amp alternator.

As for fitment in a duratec. I cannot say for sure, but I would seriously doubt the two are the same.

I am trying to verify the stock output but I don't believe 200 is correct.

My fault on the amps, I confused the alternator I am running as being the same as the OEM one. I am running the Bosch High Output alternator which puts out 200 amps. Again if my numbers were wrong, I apologize.

hmm, good info. Thank you CFM and focus wrc. I think going to the 140amp alternator and new ground wires should all but elminate my blinking lights at night due to my stereo.
