Outerwear had it on back order much longer than they originally planned. They did finally shipped it out to us with our stocking order. Our shipment is scheduled to come in on April 10. The Monday coming up. We will ship it out that day, and you will get it the next day.

Hey ArmyFocus, are you using the Outerwear Pre-Filter with your Procharger? If so, does it affect boost any? Also, do these need to be replaced every 6-12 months?

The ITG filter has a different shape to it. The 20-1615-01 for the aem cold air intake would be the closes one for it. If you have the cold air intake, We do sell a new air filter with the air filter cover for that. http://focus.c-f-m.com/index.asp?Pag...ROD&ProdID=999

This is a custom setup I'm running so I just need the filter cover. Would you be able to try it on one of the ITG filters to confirm whether it fits properly or not?

Thanks. It actually fit pretty good but I still used a zip tie just to be safe.

does this take away from the air flow at all? and i can't remember but are they water resistant? i've thought of ordering one but have put it off. if it doesn't take away from the intake i just might order one. might put my mind at ease a bit from concerns of water getting on the filter. thanks-

Yes, they are water resistant and they are not suppose to reduce airflow.

How long the pre-filter will stay clean all depends on the enviroment and weather condictions on your area. The cleaner will help to restore the pre-filter, so if it was 6 months before it should be 6 months again if it was cleaned well.

Bump from the dead...

If anyone is still wondering about the water resistance, I'm fairly certain that these use a DWR (Durable Water Repellant) coating on the fabric, and can almost certainly be "refreshed" by using something like nikwax, which is commonly used to waterproof outdoor gear.

http://www.nikwax.com/en-us/index.php

Now another question, does anyone know if there's an outerwear that will fit the FocusSport CAI for duratec? its the ITG JC60/73C filter.

Do you have the dimensions for the filter?

So far what i've found for the JC60/73C filter is:

3" O/D neck width
2" neck length
5.9" filter diameter
7.5" overall length (which should mean 5.5" filter length)

thanks again,
