Anyone wanna help me with the install?
I can't get the stock shifter out the plastic shifter mount. It's removed from the car and sitting on my workbench, with the 4 Torx bolts removed. How does it come out of there? |

Once the 4 torx bolts are removed, you have to also remove the plate those torx are holding down, then remove the flower-clip by pushing on it with a socket to spread the "petals" out while pulling on the lever on the opposite side. It's kind of tricky but it should come out.

IT'S IN!
I managed to crack the shifter base where the shifter cable's case sits, so if I shift the gears too fast, it pops out. It doesn't happen all the time, and if it does, all I have to do is take off the boot and push it back down. No big deal. The shifter is badass though. Very smooth, extremely short throws, and the adjustability is amazing. |

(Step #9) While gently pulling on the selector arm towards the passenger side, use a ½” or 13mm long socket to release a few arms at a time on the dark gray plastic retainer. Releasing all at the same time is much more difficult. Start with a few and work your way around. Enjoy the shifter!
